Michael Beale cries wolf about Rangers and no one cares

Rangers fans will be aware ex-manager Michael Beale has come out from under his rock to ‘dish the dirt’ and ‘reveal the truth’ about his time at Rangers, but of course the guy’s story has changed so many times we’d suggest you take it with the pinch of salt it deserves.

For all that we’ve looked at the stats and learned that Beale was no worse than Philippe Clement has been, performance-for-performance and point-for-point, we still don’t trust the man one iota and caught him lying so many times a second-hand car salesman would blush.

The big doozy is his bold claim that he’d have turned Rangers around given time, and that nothing was his fault, of course; we look forward to him saying the same thing about Sunderland, where he was the most unpopular manager in their history (much like Rangers) and was fired fairly swiftly.

Beale, unfortunately, is a guy who can’t just say ‘yes I got it wrong and I made a lot of mistakes’. That he was out of his depth.

Instead he continues to shift everything onto everyone else and more or less portray himself as the victim.

The latest one is telling us Fashion Sakala is a liar, and wanted to go, after the Zambian absolutely didn’t want to leave and made it clear to Rangers fans.

The former striker was a colourful chap alright, full of himself and egotistical, but we didn’t take him for a liar.

Beale rewrote the rules on lying.

So who would we believe there? We wonder.

Bottom line is the man is out of a job, and needs to find a new gig, but while Ibrox Noise did say many months ago we’d leave him alone, the fact he’s tried to make himself relevant again by spreading nonsense about his time at Rangers makes us reference the situation.

Of course it does.

Either that or he spoke nonsense when he was in the job?

Either way, Beale told a lot of porkies, and whether it was when he had a job or now, the boy cries wolf too many times.

Que sera.
