Middlesbrough have completed the signing of John Obi Mikel.
The 31-year-old was unveiled on Thursday morning.
Mikel left Chelsea two years ago for Chinese Super League club Tianjin TEDA but is now back in English football.
Middlesbrough are currently fifth in the Championship and will hope Mikel can inspire their promotion charge.
The midfielder, who has been capped 85 times by Nigeria, has signed a âshort-termâ deal on Teeside, according to reports.
