Although the draw against Bravos de Juárez left a bittersweet taste in everyone's mouth at Guadalajara, there are certain aspects that stand out strongly. In the match corresponding to Matchday 12 of the Clausura 2025, Miguel Gómez was able to return to action after being injured in the match against Necaxa.

Gómez's return was more than special, because in addition to overcoming an injury he suffered in his right femoral biceps in his second game in the maximum circuit, he performed impeccably on Chivas' right flank. Such was his impact on the game, that in the 80th minute he scored the equalizer with a powerful shot from the edge of the area. What a way to score his first goal as a First Division player, at an opportune moment and when his team needed him most.

Miguel Gómez's path in Guadalajara began when he was just 8 years old, when he joined Chivas Gigantera. Subsequently, he went through all the youth divisions, where he was trained as a right back and was also able to win several titles, including the Under 13, Under 17, Under 20, Under 23 and 2 with the Tapatío in the Expansion League.

Migue' has faced several difficulties throughout his short career, as he recently suffered a cruciate ligament injury that kept him away from the field for almost a year. However, in a show of physical and mental strength, Gómez returned stronger than ever and with just a few weeks of activity, he was able to be crowned champion of the Apertura 2024 with El Tapatío. But that's not all, as he returned at a high level, which earned him the opportunity to do preseason training with the Rebaño and make his debut as a starter on Day 1 of the current tournament.

As he has mentioned on many occasions, his greatest inspiration is his mother. It is because of her that he has a taste for soccer and a love for Guadalajara, since she used to take him to the Jalisco Stadium to cheer on the Rebaño Sagrado from a very young age. This is how Miguel Gómez, a recalcitrant Chivas fan, managed to overcome the obstacles along the way and made his dream of playing for the team he loves come true.
