With Milan and some Premier League clubs reportedly interested in Patrick Dorgu, Lecce decided to renew the youngster’s contract to strengthen their position with a view to potential negotiations.
The 19-year-old is one of Lecce’s most sought-after players, as the Giallorossi are said to have already rejected a €10m offer from the Rossoneri for the versatile talent, who joined the Serie A outfit in 2022 from Nordsjelland.
Dorgu is currently an undisputed starter in Luca Gotti’s side and Lecce extended his deal at the Stadio Via Del Mare to make sure they’ll be able to sell the Denmark international for the highest price possible.

As reported by Tuttomercatoweb, Lecce renewed Dorgu’s contract until 2029, which will give the club plenty of time to wait for the player’s development, as his value is expected to increase during the season.
The interest of several big clubs is also a factor which is likely to affect Dorgu’s price tag, as they’ll reportedly need a much more lucrative offer compared to Milan’s to sign the youngster.
