Milan have identified Samuele Ricci of Torino as their primary midfield target for the future, and they have recently made progress in negotiations with his agents despite his recent contract extension.
The Granata announced last week that the midfielder signed a new deal expiring in 2028, a move that should fend off interest from his suitors, at least for the January transfer market, but one that will hardly discourage the Rossoneri from trying to sign him next summer.

With the likes of Napoli and Manchester City also reportedly interested in the talented Italy international, the Diavolo are working in the background to get an edge in the race for the 23-year-old as they seem fully convinced he possesses the qualities their midfield currently lacks.
According to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, Milan have recently made ‘steps forward’ with a view to bringing Ricci to the San Siro next season, as they are said to be in ‘advanced talks’ with the player’s entourage.
Torino are likely to set a price tag in the region of €30-35m for their gem, but before opening negotiations with the Granata the Rossoneri want to be sure to get the upper hand in the midfielder’s preferences.
