AC Milan Primavera were at their brilliant best this morning, as they put four past Udinese, which has significant meaning.
It has been a good few weeks for the Milan Primavera, and Federico Guidi’s side have put real pressure on Verona, who they are fighting for a play-off spot with.
The game shaped up nicely from the off, as Emanuele Sala gave the Rossoneri the advantage within just two minutes, taking advantage of a loose ball within the box. However, Guidi’s side did not take their foot off the pedal.
Instead, they pressed harder, and the first half continued to be an onslaught of Diavolo chances, but unfortunately, the side could not extend their lead in the opening 45.
That remained the case for the opening 15 minutes of the second half, as Milan came out of the blocks flying again and were dominant in proceedings throughout. Then, Vincenzo Perrucci doubled the lead, once again, pouncing on a loose ball.
It was only the first in a magnificent five-minute period as Christian Comotto scored a brace, the first with his left foot and the second with a header. At 4-0, this is where the foot came off a little, as the Rossoneri started to protect their lead, though they still had a few decent chances.
In fact, Udinese’s first attempt of the game came in the final minute, and whilst they were close to scoring, it remained 4-0 for the young Diavolo, and now they occupy the sixth spot in the Scudetto play-offs and will wait for the outcome of the Verona game.
