After announcing the signing of Euro 2024 winner Álvaro Morata, Milan continue to work on the market in order to strengthen the squad of new coach Paulo Fonseca.

Red Bull Salzburg and Serbia national team centre back Strahinja Pavlović has been identified as the player wanted by Geoffrey Moncada and Zlatan Ibrahimović to reinforce the backline of the Diavolo, who next season will be without veteran Simon Kjær who left the club.

Milan have been in negotiations for Pavlović for a while and new details have emerged today (Friday). While the well-known Austrian Salzburger Nachrichten suggests that Pavlović is one step away from Milan for a figure close to €25 million including bonuses, Milannews.it, Calciomercato and Relevo suggest that the intention of the Diavolo is to not go above €20 million in total.

It is believed that there is a general agreement between Milan and the 23-year-old over a contract worth €1.8m a year. Milannews.it claims the Rossoneri are confident they can sign him.
