Serie A giants Napoli are now likely to attempt a January move for Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez.
Luca Bianchin has reported today that Milan had tried to sign the Mexican in the summer but a move never went through. They want to try again now and they are likely to use money from sales.
Milan know that it will not be an easy move but they will still try, knowing that Strahinja Pavlovic could move to Galatasaray, who have made a written offer already. Gimenez’s current valuation is €40 million, which is believed too high for the Rossoneri but negotiations will be attempted.
If nothing comes of the talks, Joao Felix remains an option. Beyond that, money can also come in from Emerson Royal’s sale, with Fulham having come forward for the Brazilian. The player is seriously considering an exit but Milan do not want to make a capital loss on the deal. Money from the right-back’s exit can also be used for Gimenez, with Kyle Walker already arriving.
