Milan defender Matteo Gabbia will miss the Rossoneri’s clash against Napoli next Tuesday after picking up a muscular problem in training.
Paulo Fonseca’s side underwent a training session on Sunday morning after their game at Bologna, originally scheduled for Saturday, was called off due to extreme weather warnings, and according to Sky Sport, Gabbia suffered a muscular strain during practice.
The centre-back had already missed his side’s 1-0 win over Udinese last weekend due to a physical issue and was on his way to recovery.

His injury adds to Milan’s list of absentees against Napoli, as they will also be without Theo Hernandez and Tijjani Reijnders, who will serve their ban in the next match as a result of the postponement of the Rossoneri’s fixture at the Stadio Dall’Ara.
Gabbia picked up four Serie A appearances this season and scored a late winner in his side’s 2-1 win in the Derby della Madonnina.
