After the day of rest granted on Tuesday by Sergio Conceiçao, the AC Milan squad returned to work at Milanello today.

After the win over Genoa on Monday night, Conceicao revealed to DAZN after the game that he had given those who played in the match a day off the following day, but the injured players came in to continue their therapy anyway.

MilanNews have some positive news regarding Tammy Abraham, who missed the last league match at the Marassi due to a muscular problem. The English striker trained regularly with the group, as did Emerson Royal.

As for the other injured players – namely Youssouf Fofana, Warren Bondo and Riccardo Sottil – all three continued their therapies today to recover from their physical problem. None have serious issues, so it will be a case of them returning day by day, but they might not be risked on Friday.

Milan will host Bologna in the 36th round of Serie A in two days, an opponent that they will then find themselves facing again a few days later in the Coppa Italia final (Wednesday, May 14).

Conceiçao will not speak at a press conference tomorrow, so the media will be left guessing a bit with team news.
