MN: The current scenarios facing Milan Futuro in the Play Out | OneFootball

AC Milan Futuro, for nearly the whole season, have been threatened with relegation, and it seems that they are heading one way currently. However, they cannot get too excited yet.

Yesterday, the Milan Futuro won their third successive game in Serie C, beating Ternana by a goal to nil, and taking Massimo Oddo’s point haul to 11 so far, a very respectable amount, considering the issues of this season.

However, he is still being left to deal with those problems, and there is a very real chance that the Futuro will have to play in the ‘Play Out’ at the end of the season. So, there is already a look ahead to the potential opponents that may be waiting ahead.

As Milan News write, at this point, a game against SPAL is most likely, with the Rossoneri fourth from bottom. However, it is not as simple, given that Lucchese are at risk of direct relegation, due to their own financial problems.

So, if they were to be relegated, the Diavolo would move to fifth bottom, and would instead play Legnago Salus. Even then, though, this is not guaranteed, as there is currently an eight-point gap to the team, which would cancel the Play Out game. It is certainly hectic, and the Futuro must do everything they can to avoid the risk of relegation.
