Mohamed Salah leads the Premier League player of the season nominees, joined by two Liverpool team-mates and Nottingham Forest pair Chris Wood and Morgan Gibbs-White.
In total, eight players are up for the honurs with Newcastle's Alexander Isak, Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo and Arsenal's Declan Rice joining Virgil van Dijk and Ryan Gravenberch.
Liverpool’s title-winning side boasts three nominees, making up the list’s largest contingent from one club, while Forest, the Premier League’s surprise package this season, are awarded with two nods.
Isak makes the shortlist for the second season running, while it’s a first nomination for Mbeumo. There is no room for Erling Haaland, who has scored 21 goals this season.
Salah is the clear favourite to win the award, which is he looking to claim for a record-equalling second time. Kevin De Bruyne, Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo and Nemanja Vidic are the previousl double-winners.
The Egyptian boasts 46 goal contributions in 36 games and is just one goal or assist away from matching the all-time record for most goal involvements in a single campaign, a record jointly held by Alan Shearer and Andy Cole.
