Mohamed Salah recorded his 100th assist for Liverpool in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Fulham.

In an enthralling affair, it was Salah's delightful cross which set up Cody Gakpo's diving header - the first of Liverpool's two equalisers as they were made to work hard for their share of the spoils following Andy Robertson's early red card.

While the result left Salah feeling frustrated, the Egyptian does have cause for celebration after reaching 100 assists with the Reds.

He reached the tally in his 372nd appearance for the club and has now been involved in 29 goals in just 22 outings in all competitions this season.

Slot has previously voiced concerns over becoming too reliant on Salah in front of goal, but the boss will be delighted to see Diogo Jota back from injury. The Portugal international entered from the bench to score the late equaliser to salvage a point for Liverpool.

"First of all, we are delighted to have some players back because we've had our injuries," Slot reflected. "The good thing is that nobody spoke about it because that means you get results.

"But to have them available at this moment of time was really helpful. We just thought [to] bring all the players in that can score a goal. And then to see them working so hard without the ball... so we had five or six players who were mainly offensive players but with ten to keep the other team away from goal and still create chances was great to see.

"And, indeed, Darwin [Nunez] and Jota had an impact but Harvey [Elliott] had an impact as well, being out for two months now – it's good to have him back also."
