Adi Hütter faces a selection headache with AS Monaco dealing with multiple absentees ahead of Sunday’s match against Le Havre AC.
Following their red cards against Olympique de Marseille last week, Denis Zakaria and Guillermo Maripán are both suspended for the fixture. Their absences are untimely with Hütter’s options already limited. With the departures of Myron Boadu, Chrislain Matsima and Eliot Matazo on deadline day, there is no longer much depth in this team.
Mohamed Camara is returning from the AFCON following Mali’s elimination, whilst Takumi Minamino is returning from the Aian Cup, however, neither will return to the Principality for Sunday’s fixture. Folarin Balogun’s shoulder injury, from which he is expected to recover next week, further limits Monaco’s options and leaves Wissam Ben Yedder as the only recognised senior forward.
Philipp Köhn; Ismail Jakobs, Mohammed Salisu, Thilo Kehrer; Kassoum Ouattara, Soungoutou Magassa; Youssouf Fofana, Vanderson; Aleksandr Golovin, Maghnes Akliouche; Wissam Ben Yedder.
