Monza’s Andrea Carboni: “The draw with Roma is important for our morale.”

Monza’s Andrea Carboni spoke to reporters about the importance of his side’s 1-1 draw with Roma.

In his post-match press conference, the Italian defender said, “This is a very important result for our morale.”

“Clearly we wanted to win, and we haven’t won since March,” he added.

“But let’s look on the bright side. We have shown that we are a united group and I thank the fans for their great support.”

“I have to tell the truth, we wanted to be very aggressive right away. In the second half, however, it went better, the attitude was right and in the end it went well.”

“The point gives us morale, I am convinced that this team has always been on the ball. We only made mistakes with Bologna and Genoa. Now we need to work well during the break and then two finals with Verona and Venezia.”
