An insight into the terms of the contract soon set to be signed by Vinícius Jr. at Real Madrid has this weekend been forthcoming online.
And it points towards the Brazilian’s status as one of Los Blancos’ star men being set for recognition, by means of a wage increase.
As per a report from Diario AS, Vinícius’ current contract comes in at around €15 million-per-season, for a total of €75 million spread across five years.
The 24-year-old’s new terms, though, will be even more lucrative.
Vinícius and the Real Madrid board are understood to have reached an agreement over the terms of a five-year renewal, through 2030.
As part of as much, the explosive winger will be the recipient of a salary close to the €20 million mark, making the deal worth a sum in the region of €100 million.
As a base wage, this is more than any other member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, including summer signing Kylian Mbappé.
It is also noted by AS that Vinícius’ contract will feature a series of potential bonuses:
‘These include team incentives, such as titles, but also individual ones, such as surpassing a certain goal-scoring threshold per season or, most importantly, winning the Ballon d’Or or The Best.’
