Davide Calabria’s contract is unlikely to be renewed, so he will likely be leaving AC Milan at the end of the 2024/25 season, but other top Serie A clubs are interested.

By all accounts, it seems like Calabria’s time at Milan is coming to an end. In the past few seasons, his popularity has dropped. Even though Emerson Royal has struggled to be consistent, there have been calls for a new addition, rather than the captain, which is quite telling of his situation.

Now, as Matteo Moretto reports on X, the right-back’s situation is currently being looked at by Juventus, who could make a move in June. Evaluations are beginning to take place now, suggesting there is probably no chance of an early move in January.

Whether a possible January deal would bring much revenue is yet to be seen, and with the Rossoneri only having two ‘proper’ right-backs brings another question in itself about whether a deal would be sanctioned to the Bianconeri or someone else.

It is not a new thing for clubs to poach talent from other clubs on pre-contract deals, especially not in Italy. However, whether the Rossoneri will look back at this decision gladly or regretfully will only be told in time, considering he could strengthen a direct rival.
