Tijjani Reijnders will soon renew his contract with AC Milan but is attracting interest from Chelsea ahead of the summer, a report claims.

According to the latest from Matteo Moretto of Relevo, Chelsea have been ‘asking about the situation’ of Reijnders in recent weeks and they have ‘made more than one enquiry’ about the Dutch midfielder. They like him, but there is nothing more to this point.

Reijnders will renew his contract with Milan until 2030 (the signature will come soon) and his intention is to stay at Milan, something Moretto has ‘no doubt’ about. However, there is a factor to take into account: the possibility that Milan will not qualify for the next Champions League.

In that case, the Rossoneri will not be able to declare any of their top players untransferable and it will depend on the offers that come in. If they are huge bids, they will have to be assessed given the revenues that will be missing.

The journalist states: “I want to make a clarification here: I personally believe that AC Milan will do everything possible to keep Tijjani Reijnders unless an offer really comes that is out of the market [huge].”

The same goes for Rafael Leão, who has a contract with Milan until 2028. At the moment the Premier League and Saudi Arabia are the two leagues most interested in his situation.
