Tauro FC vs. San Francisco FC

Tauro FC meets San Francisco FC in a Panamanian clash at the Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City, Panama.

Both sides will look to close out their debut campaigns in the tournament by earning their first win. The match will be the first meeting between the compatriot clubs in the Central American Cup and in Concacaf club tournaments. In domestic league play, Tauro leads the series with 14 wins to seven for San Francisco, with the 10 encounters resulting in draws.

CS Herediano vs. FC Motagua

CS Herediano hosts FC Motagua at the Estadio Nacional in San José, Costa Rica. The two will meet in a rematch of the 2018 Scotiabank Concacaf League Final, which Herediano won 3-2 on aggregate.

Herediano is on a three-match winning streak and has kept three clean sheets during its opening slate. Already through to the next round, the club will seek to preserve its first place in Group A with at least a draw. The Costa Rican side remains unbeaten in the CCAC with seven wins and four draws overall.

Motagua will seek a second consecutive victory to secure its place in the knockout round. Currently third in Group A with six points, a win over Herediano could see the Honduran outfit overtake Cacique Diriangén FC for second place and a place in the quarterfinals. Agustín Auzmendi and Yeison Mejía lead the team with two goals each in the current campaign.

The meeting will be the fourth between the sides in Concacaf club tournaments. Herediano leads the series with two wins to Motagua’s one.
