As FC Nantes look to create some breathing room between themselves and the relegation places, Antoine Kombouaré can once against count on Matthis Abline and Tino Kadewere, both of whom have made their returns after missing last weekend’s defeat against Stade Rennais.
Abline was ineligible to play in last weekend’s Breton derby defeat as he was not allowed to play parent club Rennes. However, he is back in the squad and is expected to start against Montpellier HSC on Friday evening. Kadawere will likely have to settle for a place on the bench.
Nantes will, however, be without Douglas Augusto, who was injured in the warm-up for last weekend’s match against Rennes. Suffering from a thigh injury, Kombouaré fears a more considerable absence.
