Nantes to sign Young Boys winger Meschack Elia | OneFootball

Nantes and Young Boys have reached an agreement over a loan move with an option to buy for Meschack Elia (27), according to L’Equipe. The outlet understands that weeks of talks between the Ligue 1 side and the Swiss Super League outfit will come to a fruitful conclusion as Elia will be loaned out to Les Canaris for the remainder of the 2024-2025 campaign. Only minor details still need to be ironed out to complete the deal.

Nantes and Young Boys reportedly agreed to a loan deal with a €3m option to make Elia’s move to La Beaujoire permanent. Elia has played for Young Boys since 2020, making 200 appearances and logging 43 goals and 41 assists for the Swiss Super League outfit. The winger has represented DR Congo 46 times, scoring on 9 occasions for the Leopards.
