Napoli are advancing in their moves to land Bournemouth’s Hamed Traore and Nottingham Forest midfielder Orel Mangala.

The Partenopei have had a bid rejected for Fiorentina’s Antonin Barak and Juventus seem to have stolen the march on them for Lazar Samardzic. But in what has been a frustrating season, Napoli see some positive.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the Azzurri are edging ever closer to signing Traore from the Cherries and it would seal the Ivorian’s return to the Serie A, where he plied his trade with Sassuolo before he joined Bournemouth.

The good news for Napoli doesn’t stop there, as they are also progressing in a move for Mangala. The likelihood is that the Belgium international would join the Partenopei on a loan deal and it remains to be seen if an option to buy would be added or not. Juventus also like Mangala, but it seems as if Napoli are progressing.

Despite a rejected bid for Barak, Napoli will continue to try to land him this month.
