Serie A side Napoli return to Empoli’s Jacopo Fazzini race alongside Lazio.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Napoli gain traction in the race to sign Empoli midfielder Jacopo Fazzini as competitors Lazio have their initial bid rejected. The Bianconcelesti came up with an offer of €1 million for a two-year loan and the right-to-buy clause set at €11 million. However, Empoli have declined this proposal.
Napoli aim to bridge the gap to cater to Roberto D’Aversa’s club’s demands which is rumoured to be set at an initial €3 million for a loan deal with the option to buy at the end of it. Antonio Conte is leading negotiations and has indicated to the club management about the necessity of signing the midfielder.
Napoli are in a better position to land Fazzini’s signature as sporting director Giovanni Manna aims to make the decisive offer soon with Michael Folorunsho departing for Fiorentina.
