Denzel Dumfries isn’t hiding his ambitions to win the treble with Inter Milan ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League clash with Feyenoord.
The Dutchman spoke to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, ahead of tomorrow’s match.
Inter Milan are currently active on three fronts. Technically four, considering they play in the Club World Cup at the end of the season.
But right now, it is in Italian and European competition that Inter are focusing their efforts.
Just in the last couple weeks, Inter have played matches in three different competitions.
The Nerazzurri booked their place in the Coppa Italia semifinals with a win over Lazio last month. And in the Champions League, Inter have a chance to get to the quarterfinals with tomorrow’s second leg against Feyenoord.
Meanwhile, in Serie A Inter continue to fight to retain last season’s title.
The Nerazzurri have certainly had some setbacks in this respect. They have struggled in the biggest matches over the last few weeks.
But results against Genoa and Monza have kept Inter at the top of the table nevertheless.
Wingback Denzel Dumfries made clear that “every match is important” for Inter Milan.
“We’re playing in three competitions, and we know what the schedule is,” he continued.

“We have to work to win every match.”
“We have trophies to fight for,” added the Dutch international. “And we want to win all three.”
Meanwhile, Denzel Dumfries made clear what he’s expecting from tomorrow’s round of sixteen match.
“For Feyenoord it will be their last chance,” he said. “So I think that they’ll come here wanting to score.”
“I think they’ll come out with a lot of passion,” Dumfries added.
“That’s the kind of match that I’m expecting.”
