Liverpool’s WSL side have begun their new season at a new venue at the St Helens Stadium on Merseyside.
They will share the ground with St. Helens RFC, and have signed a ten-year lease in order for both supporters and players to benefit from enhanced facilities.
Liverpool previously played their home games at Tranmere Rovers’ Prenton Park.
Yet while the venue has changed, some things have stayed the same, as Sophie Román Haug gave the home side the lead with a trademark header.
