Tresor spent last season at Turf Moor on loan from Genk, featuring in 16 Premier League games but was unable to prevent their relegation.
Burnley made his move permanent in the summer but he could yet again be on the move in the coming days.
Interest has arrived in the Belgian from the French shores.
According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Nice are interested in signing Tresor on a loan deal until the end of the season.
However, with just four days remaining before the transfer window closes, Nice face a race against time to get the deal done.
Tresor played two Champions League qualifiers for Genk last season, before being shipped out to Burnley.
Burnley, who are yet to use him in the Championship this season, have him contracted until the summer of 2028.
