Speaking at a press conference attended by Get French Football News Marseille manager Roberto De Zerbi gave his response to rumours of a potential departure to AC Milan which were reported by La Gazzetta Dello Sport. The Italian outlet reported that De Zerbi had emerged as the favourite to take over from Sérgio Conceição as head coach of the Rossonieri. “Listen here everyone is free to say what they once said. No one has called me. No team has called me,” said De Zerbi at Friday’s press conference. “Like I will do until the end of the season I will talk with no team: my desire is to stay multiple years here.” “It’s like a marriage there is always two not three: and I have no intention to leave,” the former Brighton and Sassuolo manager reiterated. “I’m annoyed by the way we played our last match,” said De Zerbi on OM’s loss to Reims last weekend. “I’m in the ideal environment, I don’t know if I’m the best for Marseille but what I do know is that Marseille is the perfect environment for me.” GFFN | George Boxall – reporting from La Commanderie, Marseille.
