Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Ramón Sosa from Argentinian club Talleres for an initial fee of £11m.
The 24-year-old winger will head to the City Ground and become Nuno Espírito Santo’s seventh signing of another busy summer for the club.
Sosa has become one of the brightest talents in Argentine football in the last 18 months, scoring 17 goals and providing 13 assists in 56 games for Talleres following a move from Gimnasia.
Prior to that, he had played for both River Plate, and Olimpia in his homeland of Paraguay, for whom he has become a regular of late also.
After not playing at any youth level for his country, Sosa made his full international debut in November 2022, and has since gone onto make 14 appearances, scoring once.
That goal came in this summer’s Copa América, where the winger started every game as Paraguay crashed out at the group stages.
