Kicker reports that Nottingham Forest are interested in the VfB Stuttgart duo Serhou Guirassy and Borna Sosa.
Forest have reportedly been interested in Guirassy for some time and as the 27-year-old has a release clause in his contract, worth €15-20m, the club is ready to activate the clause. Guirassy will be questioned about his future at Stuttgart over the coming days and if he is open to joining the Premier League side, the clause will be activated.
If Guirassy does leave Stuttgart already have a replacement. Brighton striker Deniz Undav has joined the club on a season-long loan and so can fill in for the 27-year-old if he eventually does leave, but Stuttgart would prefer to play with both Undav and Guirassy up front.
Left-back Sosa is also a topic of discussion at Forest. The 25-year-old has made it clear for some time he would like to take the next step in his career and would like to play in the Premier League. If Forest are interested in the left-back negotiations on a transfer fee will likely start at €15m.
Once again, Stuttgart are prepared for the possible departure of Sosa as earlier on in the window they completed the signing of Maximilian Mittelstädt from Hertha Berlin but the original aim was that Mittelstädt would play as a backup to the Croatian international.
