Nottingham Forest offer Feyenoord €25m for star striker | OneFootball

De Telegraaf are reporting that Nottingham Forest have offered Feyenoord €25m for striker Santiago Gimenez, with bonuses included. The paper reports that Feyenoord will certainly reject this offer but are willing to entertain new offers for the Mexican forward. The side signed the striker for just €6m in 2022 from Cruz Azul and his current contract runs until 2027. Transfermarkt currently values him at around €40m.

Gimenez has already started this season with two goals in two games and continues to show why he is one of the best striker in the Eredivisie. In 89 games for the Rotterdam side he has scored an incredible 53 goals. During his time with Cruz Azul he scored 21 goals in 105 games. With Gimenez in the side, Feyenoord have won the league and the cup in recent years. Lats season was his best for the side, with 23 league goals in 30 matches, as well as six assists.
