Over the course of the ongoing season, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has handed first-team debuts to a number of young talents coming through the youth ranks at the club.
One such player happens to be Daniel Yanez, who made his senior debut for Los Blancos in December 2024, coming on as a late substitute during a La Liga clash against Girona.
Now, the youngster has confirmed via a post on social media that he has signed a new contract with Real Madrid, committing himself to the Spanish capital club until 2029.
“So grateful to be able to continue in my life club. Also thanks to my family and Real Madrid for helping me along this way. Now it’s time to keep working and giving everything for this club,” he wrote after signing his new deal.
Yanez, 18, joined La Fabrica from the Cadiz youth setup back in 2019 and has since enjoyed a steady progress through the ranks at Madrid.
The teenage winger has featured 14 times for the club’s Juvenil A setup in the UEFA Youth League, scoring five goals. At the same time, he has 13 appearances for the Castilla team, netting one goal.
With his debut against Girona, Yanez beacme the second youngest player to feature for Real Madrid in the 21st century.
Capable of operating in multiple positions in attack, Yanez has also been on the bench in a Champions League game for the first team this season, against Liverpool.
