La Liga champions Real Madrid have on Sunday afternoon unveiled the club’s starting XI to face Rayo Vallecano.
And it features a number of alterations to the side which faced off with city rivals Atlético during the week.
Real Madrid, of course, are set to return to action in short order.
Sandwiched between a pair of Madrid Derby outings in the Champions League, Los Blancos have welcomed the aforementioned Rayo Vallecano to the Santiago Bernabéu, for a La Liga clash.
After Barcelona’s meeting with Osasuna was postponed on Saturday night, Real are aware that a victory this evening would see them draw level with their arch rivals in the table.
As alluded to above, though, this has not stopped boss Carlo Ancelotti from ringing the changes.
All told, from the line-up which took to the pitch against Atlético on Tuesday, Los Merengues have opted for six changes.
Dropping out are all of Thibaut Courtois, Federico Valverde, Antonio Rüdiger, Ferand Mendy, Eduardo Camavinga, and Brahim Díaz.
And stepping in in their respective places are Andriy Lunin, Lucas Vázquez, David Alaba, Fran García, Luka Modric, and Jude Bellingham:
