Official: Barcelona name squad to face Villarreal | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Sunday unveiled the club’s latest matchday squad.

This comes ahead of the club’s first outing since regaining their status as Spanish champions during the week.

Fresh off putting city rivals Espanyol to the sword on Thursday night, Barcelona will welcome Sevilla to Catalunya’s capital, for their final home fixture of the term.

Heavy rotation, in turn, is expected on the part of the Blaugrana’s coaching staff.

And as alluded to above, on Sunday morning, the group of players called on by manager Hansi Flick for the clash was unveiled.

Notable absentees come in the form of sidelined trio Marc Bernal, Jules Koundé and Ferran Torres, the latter of whom remains hospitalised after being forced to undergo emergency surgery for a case of appendicitis.

Included, on the other hand, is up-and-coming defender Sergi Domínguez.
