Ismaël Bennacer is starting a new experience in France, leaving Milan after 5.5 years.
Bennacer just returned from a long-term injury in December, but now he’s already on the move and after nearly 6 years at the club, the Algerian leaves the Rossoneri.
“Milan announces that Ismaël Bennacer has joined Olympique Marseille on loan with an option to buy. The Club wishes Ismaël the very best for the remainder of the season,” a statement on the website of the Rossoneri reads.
It’s believed that OM would pay €12m plus €3m in bonuses for the services of the 27-year-old if they choose to buy him out.
