Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt have announced the signing of 18-year-old striker Ali Akman from Bursaspor on a four-year contract. The Turkish youth international will join the club on a free transfer in the summer.
“In Ali Akman, we’ve acquired the services of one of Turkish football’s biggest talents,” said Eintracht board member Fredi Bobic. “He’s a player we’re hoping to develop and improve over the next few years. Ali will be given the time and support he needs here. We’re happy to have gained a young, highly sought-after player of such ability.”
Akman has scored ten and created three in 18 Turkish Süper Lig games for Bursaspor this season and will provide competition for 25-year-old André Silva. As well as playing as a centre-forward, Akman can also provide competition across all attacking positions.
Adi Hütter’s side are in excellent form at the moment and find themselves fourth in the Bundesliga with Champions League football a real possibility.
