Official: Getafe sign Carles Pérez from Celta Vigo | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Getafe have this week announced a fresh addition to the club’s attacking ranks.

The player to have linked up with the Azulones for the season ahead? Carles Pérez.

The name of versatile wide-man Pérez had emerged as a prominent one in the media chatter surrounding Getafe over the course of recent days.

This came after word was forthcoming that the board at the Estadio Coliseum had stepped up their efforts to bring the 26-year-old in with a view to next season.

Negotiations, in turn, were kicked into gear with their counterparts at La Liga rivals Celta Vigo, over the terms of a loan deal.

And, this week, such talks have officially borne fruit.

As per a statement across Getafe’s website and social media platforms:

‘Getafe CF and RC Celta have reached an agreement for the loan of Catalan right winger Carles Pérez, who will be a blue player for one season with an option to buy.’
