He spent practically his entire career in Italy, first coming to the Udinese youth team in 2011, then with a loan spell at Empoli from 2014 to 2016.

Zielinski was sold to Napoli for €16m in the summer of 2016 and remained there for eight years, winning the Scudetto and Coppa Italia.

The midfielder turned 30 in May and was part of the Poland squad that participated in EURO 2024, eliminated in the group phase.

Zielinski not only free agent for Inter

He will not be the only free agent to arrive, as Mehdi Taremi has also prepared a move from FC Porto.

Genoa goalkeeper Josep Martinez had his medical tests this week and is on track to complete a transfer for €13m plus bonuses as well.
