Official: Keita Balde signs for Monza as free agent | OneFootball

As expected, Keita Balde Diao has officially signed for Monza with a contract that initially runs to the end of this season.

The left-sided attacking winger turns 30 next month and was a free agent after terminating his contract with Turkish side Sivasspor on January 1.

He had been training with Monza for a few days and it was reported he impressed coach Alessandro Nesta, who returned to the job this week after a brief spell with the team under Salvatore Bocchetti.

This afternoon, Keita Balde officially put pen to paper with Monza on a contract that expires on June 30, 2025.

There is believed to be an option to extend at the end of the season.

The forward has 185 Serie A appearances under his belt with Lazio, Inter, Sampdoria and Cagliari, while he was part of the Senegal side that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2021.

Some of his other clubs include AS Monaco, Espanyol and Spartak Moscow.
