La Liga outfit Las Palmas have today announced that a key member of the club’s midfield ranks has put pen to paper on a contract extension.
The player in question? Álex Suárez.
Spaniard Suárez, for his part, has continued to play a pivotal role for Las Palmas across the season to date.
After shining for García Pimienta’s troops en route to the club’s promotion to the top-flight of Spanish football last time out, the 30-year-old has since featured from the off in 19 of Los Amarillos’ ensuing 24 La Liga outings.
As much has proven central to Las Palmas’ stellar run to a place in 8th in the table as things stand.
In turn, on Tuesday, it should come as little surprise to hear of Suárez’s efforts being rewarded, by the powers that be at the Estadio Gran Canaria.
This comes by way of fresh terms, through the conclusion of the 2025/26 campaign.
As per an official statement across Las Palmas’ website and social media platforms:
‘José Alexander Suárez Suárez will remain linked to UD Las Palmas for two more seasons, following the agreement reached between all parties involved.’
