Official: Lecce sign Karlsson on loan from Bologna

Relegation-threatened Lecce have completed a loan deal with Bologna for Jesper Karlsson, who will stay at the Stadio Via del Mare until the end of the season.

Karlsson joins Lecce on loan

The offensive winger joined the Rossoblu back in 2023 but has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter in the Rossoblu’s first team, both under Thiago Motta and Vincenzo Italiano this season.

He started three times this term and found his only Serie A goal during his side’s 3-2 victory at Roma, remaining on the bench in all of Bologna’s league fixtures in December.

Lecce officially announced his signing on Saturday, confirming they found an agreement with the Rossoblu to loan the player, who will wear the number 37 jersey.
