Journalist Stuart Wilson reported via X that Ipswich Town have signed Delap for a transfer fee of £15 million. Furthermore, Wilson reported that Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna believes that Delap could become a key player for the Tractor Boys in the years to come.

The sale of Liam Delap continues Manchester City’s tendency to sell young players for sizable transfer fees. As reported by Stuart Wilson the champions have added another £15 million in transfer revenue. That money could become vital to Manchester City as they seek to strengthen their first-team squad for the 24/25 season.

It will be interesting to see how Liam Delap performs in the Premier League. He has shown during his time with the City EDS sides that he can be a prolific goal scorer. If he can carry that form into the Premier League he may one day end up back at the world champions.
