US Cremonese have announced that they have signed striker Marco Nasti from AC Milan on a permanent deal.

Nasti was taken on the preseason tour of the United States by Paulo Fonseca given the absences in the forward department, and he announced himself by scoring the winner in the first friendly against Manchester City.

However, an exit has always been talked about in light of the number of players that are currently ahead of him in the pecking order, and after talks of Genoa being keen it was Cremonese who were the most heavily linked.

Now, the Serie B club have announced that they have ‘definitively acquired the sporting performances’ of Nasti, meaning that they have signed him permanently and not on a loan deal.

Born in Pavia on 17 September 2003, the new Grigiorossi striker came through the youth teams of Milan before moving on loan to Cosenza, in Serie B.

In his first season as a professional, he scored five goals in 27 appearances, including the winning goal in the first leg of the playout (which they later won) against Brescia.

In 2023-24, he scored seven goals in 37 appearances with Bari, contributing to the Biancorossi’s salvation with a goal and an assist in the two-legged relegation play-off against Ternana.

He has signed a deal with his new club until 2028, and we wish him the best of luck.
