Monaco have tonight announced the signing of Brazilian midfielder Jean Lucas from Lyon, with the 23-year-old signing a five-year deal with the club.
The former Flamengo man arrived in French football in 2019, playing two seasons with Lyon during which he had seen limited playing time – leading to a loan spell at the back end of last season to Stade Brestois.

Local outlet Le Progrès had yesterday reported that the midfielder’s transfer fee would be in the region of €11m, while Lyon were also looking to offload the midfielder’s former team-mate and compatriot Thiago Mendes.
