Real Madrid are set to kick start their title defence this evening as they take on RCD Mallorca at San Moix.

Coming on the back of a 2-0 win over Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup, coach Carlo Ancelotti has opted to start with an unchanged lineup against Mallorca.

New signing Kylian Mbappe will continue to lead the Real Madrid frontline, with the help of Brazilian duo Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.

Ancelotti has some explosive options on the bench, including new signing Endrick as well as the highly talented Arda Guler.

Real Madrid did lack a bit of creativity against Atalanta in midweek, but Luka Modric remains on the bench, with Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni forming the midfield trio.

Eduardo Camavinga and David Alaba miss out due to injuries, with the squad being filled by youngsters Jacobo Ramon and Fran Gonzalez.
