Real Madrid’s starting XI for the club’s imminent showdown with arch rivals Barcelona has this evening been unveiled online.

And, as expected, Carlo Ancelotti and his staff have opted for a line-up packed with stars.

With Rodrygo sidelined after suffering a muscular tear in midweek, Real have opted to return to a four-man midfield setup.

As much has opened the door for Eduardo Camavinga and Aurélien Tchouaméni to return, after dropping to the bench against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.

The two France internationals have been joined in the middle of the park by Federico Valverde, and Jude Bellingham.

Elsewhere, Ferland Mendy and Lucas Vázquez occupy the full-back spots, either side of the central-defensive pairing of Antonio Rüdiger and Éder Militão.

Andriy Lunin again stands in for the sidelined Thibaut Courtois between the posts, whilst, at the other end, Real’s XI is rounded out by star attackers Vinícius Jr. and Kylian Mbappé.
