Official: Real Sociedad star signs contract through 2030 | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Real Sociedad have on Friday announced a contract renewal in the club’s first-team squad.

The player to have put pen to paper on fresh terms at Anoeta? Beñat Turrientes.

Midfielder Turrientes has for his part continued to play an important role for Sociedad across the season to date, racking up 13 appearances in all competitions.

A beloved member of the academy setup at Zubieta, negotiations, in turn, were recently opened with the 22-year-old and his entourage, over a potential contract renewal.

And, as alluded to above, on Friday, such talks have officially borne fruit.

As per a statement across Real Sociedad’s website and social media platforms, Turrientes – a Spanish youth international – has committed to a deal with the club all the way through the summer of 2030.

This rounds out what has been an altogether productive 24 hours in San Sebastian, which also saw Imanol’s troops put Dutch giants Ajax to the sword by two goals to nil in the Europa League.
