“The Croatian, born in 1975, after having gained a very long experience as a footballer between Croatia, Spain and Italy, he began his career as a coach in youth football and then as a technical assistant alongside Gian Piero Gasperini.

He made his Serie A debut in 2016-17 on the bench of Genoa, after having obtained – in the previous season – promotion to the top league with Crotone, the first in the history of the Calabrian club.

From 2019 to 2021 he leads Hellas Verona, accompanying the yellow-blues to two consecutive salvations, also enhancing several players.

In 2021 he took on the role of manager of Torino, remaining in office until 2024 and becoming the second manager with the most benches in the last 20 years of the Granata club’s life.”
