Serie A side Roma have completed the signing of Ola Solbakken from Norwegian side Bodo Glimt.
Solbakken had impressed for Roma in the UEFA Conference League last season and had helped his side pick up a 6-1 win over Jose Mourinho’s outfit. His contract was expiring at the end of December and he has now joined Roma on a free transfer.
The winger was linked with a move to Napoli and reports stated that Partenopei were interested, but Bodo Glimt wanted the player to join Napoli. That was because of the poor relations between Roma and the Norwegian outfit.
But Roma have now sealed the deal, with Solbakken signing a deal till the summer of 2027. The winger will add great depth and quality to the wide areas, especially considering Paulo Dybala’s injury record.
