Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that Warren Zaïre-Emery (18) has committed his long-term future to the club by signing a 5-year contract. This is the France international’s first professional deal with his boyhood club.
PSG were working for a long time to tie the 18-year-old down to a new deal at the Parc des Princes. Earlier in April, Fabrice Hawkins reported that Les Parisiens were still unable to find an agreement on a new contract with the PSG academy graduate’s representatives.
However, despite any potential speculation, it always looked like a matter of when, not if Zaïre-Emery committed his future to the Ligue 1 champions. The former France U21 captain has largely impressed on his breakout season for Luis Enrique’s team. Zaïre-Emery has forced his way into the starting eleven and has become a dependable player for the former Barcelona coach. The PSG midfielder has made 38 appearances across all competitions, scoring 3 goals and assisting a further 6.
