Donāt let anyone ever tell you that the Northern Ireland Football League isnāt where itās at.
On Saturday, Belfast outfit Cliftonville took on Warrenpoint at the brilliantly named Solitude Stadium, and the game produced what genuinely might be the best goal weāve seen all year.
Towards the end of the first half, Cliftonville defender Conor McDermott received possession, flicked the ball over an oncoming opponent and smashed an incredible strike over the goalkeeperās head from inside his own half.
Journalist Michael Cox ā who was on hand to witness the goal ā was most impressed.
Incredibly, that was actually McDermottās second goal of the game.
We canāt wait to see what he has up his sleeve for the hat-trick.
